The Future of Pavement Preservation is Clear: Page County, IA

The Future of Pavement Preservation is Clear: Introducing Soylei’s New Polymeric Seal Coating

We’re excited to announce the successful trial of our new polymeric seal coating technology, SIP-1133 PCC Seal. This is a product that’s set to revolutionize pavement preservation. We’ve redesigned our manufacturing process to be more streamlined, resulting in a product that’s easier to handle and more stable. This is a significant leap forward in delivering a more efficient, higher-quality sealant.

The inaugural trial took place right here in Page County, Iowa. Over 1,500 gallons of our clear seal coating were applied to Portland cement concrete, treating roughly 100,000 square yards—that’s about 14 lane miles. The results were outstanding.

What truly sets this product apart is its rapid performance. The treated surfaces were ready for traffic in less than one hour, with friction values returning to near-original levels. This dramatically reduces road closure times, minimizes disruption for drivers, and saves contractors costs on traffic control. And because our product is clear, there was no need for restriping.

The success of this demo confirms our commitment to creating innovative, sustainable, and effective solutions for infrastructure maintenance. We’re proud to bring this advanced technology to market, offering a clear path to longer-lasting roads with less downtime.

This successful trial in Page County will lead to SIP-1133 PCC Seal’s commercial launch early next year. This new product’s sales and technical information will be available on our website in conjunction with its commercial launch.

The lane needs no restriping for the whole length of road
